The $2 million project, partially funded by the 2018 voter-led General Obligation Bond, integrates 850 cameras offering over 1,600 views of the entertainment district. The Skydio X10 drone, a first in Florida, serves as an airborne first responder. It can be dispatched anywhere along the beach, relaying real-time information to officers at the intelligence center. These technological advancements are part of a broader strategy to deter misconduct and ensure a safe environment for residents and visitors.
