NYPD Chief Phil Rivera has warned drivers to prepare for traffic disruptions throughout the week, as multiple roads and lanes in the area surrounding the UN headquarters will be closed, starting Sunday. “Expect more congestion on the roads, especially around Midtown,” Rivera said. These restrictions are expected to last all week, and drivers are being advised to find alternative routes or use public transportation to avoid delays.
