The family of missing Broadway dancer Zelig Williams is desperately seeking any information that could help bring him home safely. Williams, a talented 28-year-old performer known for his roles in Tony Award-winning productions such as Hamilton, has been missing for over a week after disappearing from his hometown of Columbia, South Carolina.

Williams was last seen on October 3rd, shortly after hosting a series of specialized dance workshops in the area. A friend in New York reported receiving an SOS alert from Williams’ cell phone, indicating that he had been involved in a car crash. However, when police found his vehicle parked in a lot near the Palmetto Trail in Wateree, South Carolina, there were no visible signs of an accident. Despite this, the absence of Williams has left his family and friends increasingly concerned for his well-being.

The family of a missing Broadway dancer is pleading for any information leading to his safe return. Sara Lee Kessler reports.

The dancer’s mother and other family members have been making heartfelt pleas for information about his whereabouts. “We just want Zelig home,” said his mother. “If anyone has seen him or knows anything, please contact the authorities. We are holding onto hope that he is safe.”

Williams’ disappearance has also caught the attention of the Broadway community, where he is beloved for his energetic performances and dedication to his craft. Actor Hugh Jackman, who worked with Williams on tour, used his platform over the weekend to amplify the search. Jackman shared a photo of Williams on Instagram, asking his followers to help locate him. “We love you and are praying for your safe return,” Jackman wrote in his post.

Local police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Williams’ disappearance. Authorities have searched the area near the Palmetto Trail where his car was found, but so far, no significant leads have emerged. Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Friends, fellow dancers, and supporters have taken to social media to spread the word and join the search, hoping that someone might have seen or heard something that could lead to Williams’ safe return.

For now, the Broadway star’s family remains hopeful, trusting that more information will surface as the search continues. They are asking the public to remain vigilant and to share any potential leads with the Columbia Police Department.
