Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, has been indicted on nine federal charges related to taxes. The indictment, announced on Thursday, December 7th, comes after a grand jury investigation led by special counsel David Weiss.

Hunter Biden also stated that he attempts to keep a low profile to avoid giving Republicans more ammunition against him and his father.
The indictment against Hunter Biden is likely to fuel political debate and scrutiny of the Biden administration. Republicans have been critical of Hunter Biden’s business dealings and have accused him of using his father’s political position to secure lucrative deals.
